I'm behind. There are so many experiences I haven't written about, and so many features I haven't had the time to finish implementing.
Life happened.
Prioritizing Collabs
When I first started Breakfast Included, I sought to gather travel experiences from different perspectives. I focused on collabs, which have proven to be quite successful in providing diverse travel experiences from multiple lenses.
If a reader stumbles upon our blog via the article written by PalmTrees & Allergies, and prefers to frequent their main blog more than ours, then we've done our job. That means we've successfully introduced that reader to another travel content creator who aligns with them more. Breakfast Included works best as a "first source" where our reader can say "Hey, traveling internationally with a severe allergy might not be so scary." This is why we value our collaboration with PalmTrees & Allergies.

Expanding "Travel with Medical Needs"
I myself suffer from chronic (near daily) migraines. I still haven't found the time to write about my safari trip where I spent most days in my tent suffering in pain with no a/c. Or how i had to cut my Jeju Island tour short due to a severe migraine episode. Or the many times I visited a hospital in Costa Rica to get relief for a migraña mal.
Traveling with medical needs is one of many barriers i sought to address on this blog. With the right preparation, and managing your expectations, like being at peace when you have to cancel a tour, you can successfully and safely travel far, far away from home.
I'll get to it some day. There's so much to share.
New Features?
I sought out to create, and partially implement many, many features for the blog, but they've been put on hold. I'm just one person, and it's ok if Breakfast Included remains in the MVP (minimal viable product) stage for a little while. This isn't a WordPress site, and I'll eventually have to move on to a more robust platform when the time comes (which I knew when I made the initial decision to use Webflow for the MVP stage).
So no login or bookmarking or community features for now. And the Recommendation Directory page will lack filters and the ability for a grid view for a while, and that's ok.
And no, I'm not interested in suggestions.
What now?
For now, I'll expand on new content and collabs. Our audience from search engines is steadily growing, which offers opportunities to boost off-site SEO for your brand. Here are the ways we may mention your brand throughout our site.
Collab Opportunities
Co-branded Articles
We offer co-branded articles designed with your branding so that you're easily recognizable to your audience. These articles are high-converting assets where our mission and your expertise overlap.
For example, one of our first pieces is by PalmTrees & Allergies, "Amazing Rotterdam: Allergy Conscious Foodie + City Guide," featuring gluten-free tips alongside a city guide to ensure readers with medical needs feel represented and prepared. These posts are designed to provide practical value while naturally integrating brand mentions within the narrative.

Attributions
Accuracy and trust are vital for our readers. Every piece of contributed content will include clear attributions, linking back to the source or the expert’s own platform. This not only rewards our collaborators with high-quality backlinks for their own off-site SEO but also ensures our readers know they are getting advice from vetted, reliable perspectives.

Supporting Articles Mentioning Your Brand
Internal linking is a cornerstone of strong SEO. We will create "cluster" content where your brand or specific projects are mentioned as helpful resources within broader travel topics. If a reader is exploring a guide to Puerto Viejo, they might find a supporting article about sustainable travel gear or local community impact efforts that mentions your specific contributions.
Check out our article, "Things to do in Cahuita," which highlights Infinityland as a contributor for the Recommendations listed and the FAQ answers.

Dedicated Author Page
To humanize Breakfast Included, and to improve "Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, & Trustworthiness" (E-E-A-T) scores, every major contributor will have a dedicated author page. This page will host a professional bio and a curated list of all their published works, such as Dr. April Brown's Youtube video, "Solo Travel REVOLUTIONIZED My Mental Health for GOOD!" or Kylie Marx's "I Drove a Tuktuk Across Sri Lanka… And Here’s Why You Should, Too".
